Plot B, Section 7, Lot 7
Birth:      1872
Death:     Jul. 10, 1902
One of five firefighters to lose his life at the McIntosh fire on George St. The three story structure, which was used as a stable and was thus packed with straw and hay, burned quickly.See was killed when the east wall collapsed onto him and two other firefighters. He was one of five men killed that day. The others were Harry Clark, Walter Collard, Fred Russell, and Adam Kerr. They are all interred in the same general area of the cemetery. Their funeral procession, which wound its way along King St. and then north on Yonge to Mount Pleasant, was one of the longest in Toronto history.  To this day this is the worst lose of life in toronto firefighter history.
